Engine Question

I am replacing an engine my 86' with a BT code on the engine. I have read that is the same as the A20A3 motor. Is that correct, and will it match up to my trans? Thanks for any help.

Re: Engine Question

Re: Engine Question

My block has the A20A3 stamped on it. If its the same as the BT why do they have separate serial stamps?

Honda changed their engine nomenclature in late 1986/early 1987.
