try the honda prelude wiki. loads of info about them there. i believe the h23 was in the 4th gens and the h22 was in 5th gens.

Re: i have a few questions about my 87 lude

With regular maintainence and tune ups and grandma like driving, a car can last a very long time. This old lady that comes into my work for regular maintainence, owns a 87 toyota and has 800,000kms on it. Toyota actually sent her a letter in the mail saying they are gonna send her a new car once hers reaches 1 million. There basically gonna use it as advertisement purposes im sure. Now 5 gen preludes have the H22a motor in them. I do believe the h23 was in the 4th gen.

h23 was in 4ths, h22's were in both 4th and 5th. your best bet, like someone else said, is just to wikipedia it. or just google 2nd gen prelude. with regular maintenance and being taken care of, you can make your car last as long as you want it to
