newest edition to my garage

yupp you guessed it! its a 1986 prelude Si

found it on craigslist and i really needed a vehical for the winter months ahead because all i have is my bike(and its gets cold here in kansas)

the good:
paid 800 bucks cash for it
127,xxx miles
flushed trans
new front tires
power everything(everything still works too)
moon roof
4-wheel disk brakes
5speed
clean interior with only one seam undone
drives starit and true

the bad:
its been spray canned black(isnt tooooo bad)
headlights airnt motorized anymore
seats are a lil faded
no radio/speakers

other then that its a pretty sold car for being 23 years old...my plans for the car are to black it out and keep it for a beater and get me through the winter

heres some pics for yall

Re: newest edition to my garage

Nice find. I paid $1300 for my 87 Si with 186,xxx on it. Took a little work to fix her up, but it looks 20x better than it did when I bought it a little over a year ago.

Re: newest edition to my garage

yes, those are the after pics. like i said, it needed a lot more work before i got it. since i bought it, i've fixed the headlights, replaced both bumpers and spoiler, replaced door panels, seats, water pump, timing belt, and both cv axles. it runs great now, i just need to finish the body mods i want to do and get the whole thing painted.

Re: newest edition to my garage

there should be a relay, switch, and motor for the headlights. check them out, it could be something simple.

good luck with your new car, good buy for $800

come to find out there went fuses in the block and when i went to plug new ones in the motors tured and worked but the "ball joint" that the headlight arm attaches too wont stay hooked on so im gonna try and figure out something to keep the arm on the ball joint looking thing
