Good Luck!!!

Should be starting on mine pretty soon. The paint and body are in rough shape, lots of light surface rust. Got any helpful hints for me.

Build your fore arm. The body on mine is in pretty foul shape. Almost put it off to long, bout' started pitting. I'm sanding it down and priming it then taking it to a local painter whos cheap and does good work to get it painted. I'm useing 320 grit sand paper to get all of the rust off then spraying it with can primer. Good luck on yours to.

I got most of the roof finished today. It's been really nasty lately which is why I haven't been working on it.

Re: Officaly started fixin' up the ol' 2nd gen

Finally got everything bolted back on today. Gonna get an oil filter, air filter, and windshield wipers tomorrow morning. I hope it runs when I try to crank it tomorrow. If it does next step would be to get my sunroof switch put in and put a muffler on it (rusted of a long time ago) and get it inspected. Hopefully my part of this job(labor) will be done by the time I leave this summer.
