88 to 87 lude headlight conversion

Would the headlights from an 88 prelude fit in an 87?

The whole flip assembly. I know the design is a little different but i was thinking about doing a little custom work. I was just curious if the motors are the same and the mounting brackets are the same.

No they aren't the same, the location of the motor is different along with the headlight covers as well. The actual sealed headlight is the same but nothing else.

I kinda like the way the headlight covers aren't flushed with the hood unlike my 3rd gen. My 2nd gen had a more jagged look when the lights were flipped up...
