Modifying Parts (power windows, etc.)

Well I have a 1984 Honda Prelude, and I was wondering just how hard it would be to make my car power windows, power locks, and a lower ram air inducted. From the previous thread started by my mom on the interior of my car catching on fire this will give me the chance to completely change in interior of this car.

I don't know fully if this is possible with the year of my car, but if it is it's worth giving it a shot.

Thank you for any help anyone can offer me with this, and for all the advice on how to install these items.

Re: Modifying Parts (power windows, etc.)

Your Prelude is the DX version right? no power windows or locks...

I forget which specific company, but this one company does sell a power door lock kit. Check ebay, they have these kits.
As for power windows, you need to find an "Si" version of your car and get the power window regulator, relays, fuses, switches and all wiring associated...perhaps even the door panels too.

Not really worth the hassle, but hey, it's your car, your baby
good luck!

Yeah I didn't think it would be worth all the hassle to change it to power, but figured I'd ask. Yeah mine is just the plain base model that I'm trying to improve since well it has to be completely rebuilt. I'll look around to see what I can find as far as parts goes.
