that is a good idea... anytime you add mass to a plastic panel it will help reduce it's resonant frequency. I did buy some of the thinner foam rubber tape just for the console areas that rub together... and two hard surfaces touching eachother are bound to make noise, and our cars have a LOT of plastic.

I almost have the wiring info written up and will be posting it soon... this dang 8 hour a day job gets in the way of my personal entertainment.
