My first Prelude

Hi Guys, I just bought this 1st Gen prelude from the first owner who kept the car since 1981!!! Here are some pix.I'm planning to restore the car to original condition.

Wow you soooooo lucky. Interior pics please? Me and Bill (98BB6SH) almost got our hands on a 1st gen but it didn't come through. I'm still sad! I'll be keeping watch on your progress! Good luck and enjoy the site!

where you located... i found a 1st gen with a good interior here in GA... engine was still intack...

Hi Guys, Sorry for being absent for so long. Just sent my lude for respraying. Manage to get original new headlamps, rear lights and bumpers. Will post more pictures once its done. Next up will be restoring the interior. Cheers.

I am at Sentul area. I have seen a few in KL . Maybe they are all just like us waiting for somebody to organise one. Any problem on spares so far.

So far I have not encounter any problem getting spareparts. Theres a Honda part shop @ Ipoh Road selling lots of 692 parts. I bought new headlamps, taillights and bumpers from there. I realised that getting mechanical parts are cheaper than esthetics. For instance, a rear view mirror cost RM200.00!!! An original water pump cost less than that!!! Do show us pictures of your ride bro!
